Monaca Beaver Rail Bridge over a Frozen River
The Ohio River was frozen over (completely?) and it was just gorgeous. I took several but the gradient of the sky from foggy orange to pink to black was really neat.

Moonbow Over the Monaca-Beaver Railroad Bridge
I had intended to take several photos of the bridges around Monaca and Beaver and Rochester, but after most of the sites I had mapped out didn't work out as well as I had hoped, I looked up. The moonbow was impressive. I had been trying to find the right angle for the railroad bridge (as I'm totally fascinated with the trusses and the giganticness of the bridge), I figured putting both the moonbow and the bridge together might work. I think it did.
Sewickley Bridge - Winter Afternoon
The sun came out and, with a beautiful blue winter sky, I was able to photograph the Sewickley bridge from a higher vantage point. I think it turned out pretty well, though I may attempt to shoot it again sometime near sunrise. I would also like to attempt to photograph it in the evening with the town of Sewickley lit up.

Monaca-Beaver Railroad Bridge in the Fog
Pittsburgh is unquestionably a beautiful city and it's no wonder that it seems that so many photographers concentrate on the city from all angles. I've decided to spread out and photograph more of the surrounding areas where the number of rail bridges, tunnels, and waterways is rather staggering.
