Roberto Clemente Bridge, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

The temperature is dropped outside and I headed down to take some photos in and around Pittsburgh. Instead of heading over to one of the overlooks, I decided to stop by the stadiums and try to shoot a few of the bridges. This was the best one that came out of the shoot. Didn't stay too long since it was so cold and I wasn't quite dressed properly. Prints are available.

Roberto Clemente Bridge In the Fog - Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

I was passing through the city tonight when I noticed that the fog was heavy enough that the overlook I usually stop at was fogged in. So, instead, I went back down to the bank of the Allegheny River and took another shot of the Roberto Clemente Bridge from the North Shore. I think I'm pretty happy with how this one came out. The river was really smooth yet flowing pretty fast which made for interesting ice streaks.

This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite bridges in the city. The fact that the city is behind it (as viewed from the North Shore) only helps things. I was hoping to get a cool shot with the snow, but the wind was too strong and the snowflakes were too small to show up as anything other than fog.

PNC Park - Three Days Before Opening Day

I got the chance to go downtown tonight not really knowing where I was going to shoot. Turns out, PNC park was lit up and they were apparently doing testing of the lights and sound system and even the lights on top of the Highmark building. It was also raining which gave the lights this gorgeous atmospheric-ness that I think turned out pretty well.
